Website Design Process
- Discovery Phase: We want to layout a road map before we even talk about website design and functionality to make sure we accomplish the main goal for the website. We talk about expectations, goals, milestones, and what items we want to accomplish in the first phase. Sometimes the most important thing for a website is going to be getting a contact page with contact information and a map to a companies location. Other times the website needs to have some pictures of products or services that the company sells to start receiving immediate leads or sales from the website.
- Layout Design Phase: The initial web design concepts are then sketched out on paper to discuss the main layout and functionality of the website. This helps us focus on the general feel for the website and make sure we are focusing and accomplishing the milestones we have put together for the website. During this stage we may need to make adjustments either to the main goals or the website.
- Digital Design Phase: The sketches and notes from our previous discussions on the website are organized so we can start creating a digital version of the website. We create all of our custom website designs on Adobe Photoshop. This allows us full flexibility in the design of the website and gives us a great view into how the website is going to look and function on the internet. During this process we focus on the colors of the website design, detailed layouts, menu structure, and sub-pages.
- Website Coding Phase: The approved digital website design is now transformed into a fully functional website on the internet. During this time we build your website on our cloud servers so we can take the time to click around the website and make sure everything is looking good and functioning correctly on all internet browsers. At this time we go through the milestones and items that we wanted to accomplish for the first phase and make sure it is all done. Once we get the green light we launch the website!

Slide Show
Often times a slide show is good for making your visitors say, “Wow that looks awesome, give me more!” and then guiding them to the best parts of your website. Sometimes we put fancy marketing copy with a nice photo and push people to a page where they will either buy something or pick up the phone and call to make an appointment. The slide show is the first thing a visitor sees so we put a lot of emphasis on what those image are and what they say to a potential customer.
Sometimes we spend more time on the graphics for the slide show than the website design, which may be a little surprising, but the graphics for the slide show have a big impact on your website design. We need to focus on what is the most important thing you want to get across to a customer within 3 seconds. And we say 3 seconds because most people have a very short attention span and let’s face it they are trying to get what they want as quick as possible. So why should the website design and slide show graphics slow them down? They shouldn’t, in fact a good website design and great slide show graphics should help your customers get what they want in a very small time frame.
Photo Gallery
The portfolio gallery is a great addition to any website design and will really show off your photos for any projects you have done. Most customers are very visual and want to see what you have done for your past customers.
